This is a dual class with UAS Commercial Remote Pilot Training and Basic Multirotor Flight Training. 

Become a professional UAS pilot with this introductory course. The first part of the week is a three-day, classroom-based course covering all aspects related to UAS operation and safety considerations. Attendees will become prepared to take the FAA Unmanned Aircraft general knowledge exam. Passing the FAA knowledge exam allows the individual to apply for a Remote Pilot Certificate.

The last day of training is a 1 day course to develop basic flight skills required to operate any multirotor aircraft. This course is structured to allow one on one instruction. Attendees will receive 4 hours of hands on, one on one flight instruction to develop basic skills required to operate a multirotor sUAS. Attendees may bring their own aircraft or rent a DJI Inspire 2 for an additional fee.

  • May 17-19 Part 107 course (classroom)
  • May 20 Basic Multirotor Training group 1 (flight)

ENROLL IN THIS COURSE ONLY IF YOU HAVE ALREADY ENROLLED IN THE UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS (UAS) COURSE AND NEED TO RENT A DRONE FOR THE FLIGHT PORTION OF CLASS.
